The brand name VERI PERI carries a playful element - "VERI" stands for two very special names, while "PERI" is derived from the term PERI PERI, the name for African Bird’s Eye Chilli, a staple ingredient in one of the brand founders' favourite dishes. So, the name embodies playfulness, uniqueness, and a bit of a kick (especially when pronounced - "VERY SPICY").
